Mind Landscapes
2005

Each canvas is 84" x 45"

The adult human brain has approximately 100 billion neurons that interact and react to build a memory bank of skills, emotions and opinions.

This building of memory is not just a simple recording of experience, but an ability to acquire and apply new knowledge through editing and reorganization of brain processes.

Such adaptational changes occur in reaction to the situation at hand, much in the fashion of an artist creating a painting.

When displayed at the Tang Teaching Museum at Skidmore College in 2005, the artist said this about Mind Landscapes.
